Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 22, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information EverythingMinecraft collects when you use everythingminecraft.com and play.everythingminecraft.com (together, the "Service"), and how that information is used.
1. Information We Collect
Account Information
When you create an account, we collect your username, email address, and a securely hashed password. We never store your password in plain text.
Server and Usage Data
To operate the hosting service, we collect and store:
- Your Minecraft server's name, subdomain, server type (Vanilla/Paper/Bedrock), and configuration settings;
- Resource usage metrics such as CPU, RAM, storage, and network traffic, used to monitor server health and enforce fair use;
- Console logs and command history for your own server, used to provide the live console feature;
- Whitelist and operator (OP) lists you configure for your server;
- Friend invite relationships and the access level (Can Join / Can Manage) you grant to other users.
Support Communications
If you contact support through the live chat, we store the messages exchanged with staff, along with basic account context (username, join date, server count) so staff can assist you effectively. Issue reports submitted through the dashboard are stored along with your account and server information so staff can investigate and follow up.
Technical Data
We may log IP addresses and basic request metadata (such as timestamps and browser user-agent) for security, abuse prevention, and troubleshooting purposes.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To create and operate your account and Minecraft server(s);
- To provide live dashboard features such as console access, file management, resource monitoring, and friend invites;
- To respond to support requests and reported issues;
- To detect, investigate, and prevent abuse of shared server resources or violations of our Terms & Conditions;
- To maintain the security and reliability of the Service.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties, and we do not use your data for targeted advertising.
3. World Files and Backups
The Minecraft world files, builds, and data generated on your server are stored on our hosting infrastructure while your server exists. World backups you export are made available for you to download; we are not responsible for storing backups outside of your dashboard once downloaded.
4. Who Can See Your Data
Your server's console, files, and settings are visible only to you and any friends you explicitly grant "Can Manage" access to. Friends you grant "Can Join" access to can play on your server but cannot view your console, files, or settings. EverythingMinecraft staff may access server data as needed to provide support, investigate abuse, or maintain the Service.
5. Data Retention
We retain account and server data for as long as your account and server remain active. If you submit a deletion request for a server and it is approved, the server's world files, configuration, and associated backups are permanently removed and cannot be recovered. Support chat history may be retained for a reasonable period after a conversation is closed for quality and record-keeping purposes.
6. Cookies and Sessions
We use session cookies to keep you logged in and to remember basic preferences. These cookies are necessary for the Service to function and are not used for third-party tracking or advertising.
7. Data Security
We take reasonable technical measures to protect your account and server data, including password hashing and access controls limiting who can view or manage your server. However, no method of storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed at children under the age required by their country's laws to consent to online services without parental permission. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information without appropriate consent, please contact us through the support chat so we can address it.
9. Your Choices
You can update your account information, remove friend access to your server, and request deletion of your server at any time from your dashboard. If you would like your account and associated data removed entirely, contact staff through the support chat.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the Service. Continued use of the Service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
